I usually wish for a burning bush or a tower of cloud by day, fire by night. So, you're not alone in wanting an answer, clear and loud. I was visiting with a good friend last night about some questions I have. She asked me, "What is the lesson in this?" It's a good questions since God values our growth more than our comfort. Yep, I like my comfort, too. Thanks for your honesty and for sharing your journey with us.

Crystal, I would say take it slow (as possible, I'm sure you have to be into the new house by a certain time) Don't settle for just anything. Search and Search untill your heart is content. I think your are on the right path, keep praying God will bring you peace when your in the right place!

I've wished for that Sharpie many times!
Make sure the house is something that you can live with for 3-5 years, and plan to slowly change the things that can be changed.
Stacy (stacypro)

When we bought our first home, it technically was "too small" but we knew we could manage while the kids were young. And we have. I made sure

1. It is in a place where the value would just increase.

2. We got a good deal in such that in about less than a year there was already equity in the house.

Now we have lived in the house for over 5 years, it has become necessary for us to look to the next house.

My oldest is in middle school and needs more space, and my other two boys are close behind.

But our house has a good amount of equity, we are in a good neighborhood where people would want to move to. So I am not stressed about selling our home.

Right now we are getting our ducks in a row for our beginning search of our next home (sometime next year).

Have a 5 year plan. Can you live in this place for 5 years (or until your children are at least 7 or 8 years?) If yes, then don't worry about size. It is doable.

Just make sure it is in a place where the houseing market will keep increasing.

Blessings,

Lrlwreath
